DIRECTIONS TO HIGHGROVE BY ROAD
Highgrove is situated southwest of Tetbury, off the A433, Bath to Cirencester Road. Directions are as follows:
FROM THE SOUTH
Take the A433 to Tetbury passing the Westonbirt Arboretum and “Hare and Hounds” Hotel on the left.
On nearing Doughton, pass a “concealed entrance” sign on the left-hand side, then a lodge, and immediately after the 30 mph speed restriction sign take the next entrance on the left and keep left into the narrow walled lane, leaving the low buildings called “Street Farm Workshops" to your right.
Do not go into the workshops.
After 100 metres stop at the police checkpoint for identification and vehicle checks. Please have your identity document and invitation tickets (or guest list for group tours) to hand.
FROM THE NORTH
From the centre of Tetbury turn onto the A433 signed to Bath and Westonbirt (Pass Tetbury Parish Church on your left and follow the road over a viaduct). After two miles enter the village of Doughton.
Continue past the iron gates leading into Highgrove House (on your right) to where the high walls finish and the 30 mph speed restriction ends.
Immediately before the de-restriction speed limit sign posts turn right into an entrance, and then keep left into the narrow walled lane, leaving the low buildings called “Street Farm Workshops" to your right.
Do not go into the workshops.
After 100 metres stop at the police checkpoint for identification and vehicle checks. Please have your identity document and invitation tickets (or guest list for group tours) to hand.
