Bunny Guinness, 'A Tale of Two Gardens'

Product code: EVT01468

Saturday 24th March 2018 10:30am

Enjoy a talk by six-time RHS Chelsea Gold Medal winner, Bunny Guinness, along with a delicious two-course lunch and guided tour of the gardens.

A Tale of Two Gardens

In this special talk you will learn about two contrasting gardens; The Royal Gardens at Highgrove and Bunny’s own garden in Cambridgeshire.

Bunny has a deep understanding of the gardens at Highgrove. In 2012 she collaborated with HRH The Prince of Wales to publish the book, ‘Highgrove: The Garden Celebrated’, which showcased Highgrove through the seasons.

With this knowledge, Bunny will highlight the key elements of each garden, explaining why they make they make each one so individual and special - from organic and grand, to self-sufficient and low input - and will help you to decide what you want from your own garden and how to really enjoy it.

Dine and Explore

Following your talk with Bunny you’ll enjoy a glass of Highgrove Champagne served with delicious canapes, before being seated in the beautiful setting of the Orchard Restaurant for a two-course lunch, freshly prepared by the estate’s resident chefs.

After lunch, one of HRH The Prince of Wales’s expert garden guides will then lead you in groups on a 75 minute garden tour, where you’ll learn about the history of the estate while taking in the key highlights of the gardens, including breathtaking displays of Spring bulbs.
