Take your tea in traditional British style for the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III with the commemorative “3 Cheers for King Charles” Coronation teapot. A treasure to pass down through generations, this teapot features a bold pattern of crowns and lions set against a regal crimson, gold, and purple background. The centre of the teapot features a banner inscribed with “3 Cheers for the King,” held by an illustration of a lion from the United Kingdom coat of arms, with His Majesty’s cypher on either side.
This teapot is made at the Emma Bridgewater factory in Stoke-on-Trent (the home of English pottery) from cream-coloured English earthenware sourced from clay in Devon, Cornwall, and Wales. The illustrative design is printed onto the ceramic using a lithographing technique. A glaze is applied to the biscuit and fired in the kiln before the lithograph (a patterned transfer) is carefully placed on each piece.
Care instructions: Do not use in the microwave or oven. Dishwasher safe on a lower temperature wash.
