Thursday 22nd March 2018  - 1:45pm

Enjoy a talk from multi-award winning garden designer, Jinny Blom, along with a delicious champagne afternoon tea and guided tour of the gardens at Highgrove.

Gardening for the Future

Much-loved garden designer Jinny Blom will be explaining the key principles behind her distinctive garden designs. In this thought-provoking and highly engaging talk, Jinny will be sharing her unique approach to conservation and working with local people, and, as she describes it, ‘stealth ecology’.

For Jinny, garden design provides the opportunity to engage with and understand one’s landscape, to secure habitats and food sources for local wildlife, and to support local crafts men and women, from ironmongers to flint wallers.

Dine and Explore

Following your talk with Jinny Blom you’ll be led by one of HRH The Prince of Wales’s expert garden guides on a 75 minute garden tour, where you’ll learn about the history of the estate while taking in the key highlights of the gardens, including breathtaking displays of Spring bulbs.

After your tour, you’ll enjoy a glass of Highgrove Champagne and be seated in the beautiful setting of the Orchard Restaurant for afternoon tea, freshly prepared by the estate’s resident chefs.
