Coronavirus (COVID-19) FAQs

Your questions answered

We understand that you may have questions about your visit to Highgrove in light of the evolving COVID-19 situation. We hope our frequently asked questions will answer any queries you may have.

Why is the season cancelled?

Following guidance issued by the Government and Department of Health and Social Care - GOV.UK, and in the best interest of our guests, we have made the decision to cancel all Spring Walks taking place in April and to postpone our Taking Gardens event until later in the year.

We will closely monitor the situation and continue to follow government advice and recommendations.

How and why are you compensating/refunding attendees?

We are communicating with all customers that have booked tickets for Spring Walks during April and/or the Talking Gardens event. All guests with pre-booked tickets will be able to change their booking to a later date in 2020. Should dates not suit, Highgrove will offer a full refund and/or look at individual requests to move their booking to 2021. As Highgrove donates all profits from garden tours and events to the Prince of Wales's Fund guests can also elect to donate your ticket price directly to the charity.

Will you rearrange Talking Gardens to a later date?

Yes, we are currently making plans to move the event to October. Further information will be issued to those customers who have valid tickets with details on new dates. We appreciate the new dates may not suit everyone and in these circumstances we will offer a full refund.

Please advise your company's current situation regarding the virus and the elderly?

We are closely monitoring the developing situation and following Government guidance issued by the Department of Health and Social Care - GOV.UK to ensure the best interests of all our guests are protected. If any of our guests should experience symptoms similar to those associated with the virus, we politely ask that you do not visit the Royal Gardens at Highgrove. Please immediately contact your local health authority or doctor for further advice and instruction.

Can my voucher be extended for 2021?

All guests with vouchers will be able to book for a later date in 2020. Should dates not suit, Highgrove will offer a full refund and/or look at individual requests to move their booking to 2021. As Highgrove donates all profits from garden tours and events to the Prince of Wales's Charitable Fund guests can also elect to donate their ticket price directly to the charity.
