Spring Blossom

With a variety of apple, cherry, damson, greengage, and pear trees found around the Royal Gardens at Highgrove, blossom is in abundance. From the delicate pale pink petals of the Malus 'Cornish Aromatic’ apple trees at the front of the house, to the large white petals of the Pyrus communis ‘Beurré Superfin’ pear found in the Kitchen Garden, the flowers add a softness to the garden.

Cherry trees are a royal favourite in April as they are smothered with white and pink cherry blossom

In May, the apple trees in the Orchard begin to blossom, with blue catmint circling the base

Spring brings the Main Lawn into full bloom with branches laden with white clouds of blossom
