Salary: £23,000-£24,000, depending on experience

Job summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a digital marketer to advance in a supportive environment. The position requires proficiency in web content creation, social media site administration, graphic design, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include managing social media channels (focusing on Pinterest), website maintenance, blog writing, content creation, and administrative support.

Working closely with the eCommerce Manager and eCommerce Executive, you will contribute fresh marketing ideas, expand the company’s social media presence, and build online customer relationships.

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Overseeing the development of social media channels, specifically focusing on developing the Pinterest platform and generating reports for scheduling.
  • Writing and managing a blog related to garden-related topics.
  • Utilising a Digital Asset Management System (DAM) to efficiently organise and store digital assets.
  • Creating content for various marketing purposes, such as events, garden tours, and menus.
  • Coordinating with photographers to capture visual content.
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks to support the e-commerce, marketing, and operational activities.
  • Attending meetings as required.
  • Carry out any other duties that are reasonably requested by the eCommerce Manager.

Experience:

  • Marketing qualification or equivalent experience within the digital marketing environment.
  • At least two years of experience in generating web content and managing an organisation's social media presence.
  • Proven experience in graphic design, encompassing the creation of electronic and printed materials.
  • Good communication skills, tailoring messages to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in creative writing across various subjects, showcasing strong content and copywriting abilities.
  • Technical aptitude, able to swiftly grasp new software and web-based services.
  • Evidence of commercial/sales awareness. Placements or experience in a commercial retail company.
  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Cloud) and experience in crafting communication/marketing materials.
  • Good understanding of across-the-line marketing.
  • A creative marketing streak – you will need to provide examples.
  • Understanding images – the look, feel and message.

    Hours of work:

    • 37.5 hours per week, and such other hours that are necessary for the proper fulfilment of duties or to meet unexpected or urgent demands.
    • Hybrid working (with a minimum of 3 days in the office).
