Originally hailing from Yorkshire, Marea has found her happy haven in West Oxfordshire. Embracing a newfound chapter of life as an empty nester, she seized the opportunity to channel her creativity into a venture close to her heart. Thus, Art of Jaipur, a small business, was born.
Passion fuels Marea's journey as she delves into crafting, dedicating herself to fashioning exquisite pieces for both home and garden. Expanding beyond her creativity, Marea now orchestrates workshops in picturesque rural locales across Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, and West Berkshire. The workshops, focusing on Candle Making and Indian Block Printing, embody Marea's commitment to sharing her passion with others.
For Marea, this venture isn't just a business; it's a perfect confluence of passion and purpose. Revelling in the joy of meeting new people, she finds fulfilment in imparting her knowledge and experiences. At the heart of her enterprise is the camaraderie she shares with her friend Helen, a talented artist known for her sage advice on design and colour.
