Laurent Perrier La Cuvee is the first new champagne to be introduced by the house since 1981. Laurent Perrier's Brut NV is more than just a new label with a new composition; it is a complete replacement for Laurent Perrier's traditional Brut NV.

A pale straw colour with fine, persistent perlage. Laurent Perrier La Cuvee has delicate, fresh citrus aromas with light floral notes. Rich and complex palate with an exquisite balance between freshness and finesse. Good length in the finish. Laurent Perrier has invested heavily in vineyards to give them greater control over the quality of fruit used.

In the creation of La Cuvee, over 100 crus are drawn upon, giving the champagne great complexity. The wine then spends an extra year in the cellar, ageing for a total of four years on the lees before release.

A more significant proportion of Chardonnay grape is used in La Cuvee, almost twice that commonly found in other champagne, giving the expression greater freshness and elegance. There is also a greater proportion of reserve wines used, providing a more consistent house style between harvests. A lower dosage is also used to produce a brighter, cleaner wine.
