The inspiration for The Highgrove Suite was British composer Patrick Hawes’ one-movement work for harp and strings 'Goddess of the Woods' which was created for The Prince of Wales’s 60th birthday in November 2008.

The Highgrove Suite received its Royal Premiere at the Orchard Room at Highgrove in June 2010. The 25 minute composition includes the movements Goddess Of the Woods, The Wildflower Meadow, Sanctuary and The Gladiator, all inspired by the gardens at Highgrove.

Performed by Royal Harpist Claire Jones with the Philharmonia Orchestra, the profits from the album sales of the Highgrove Suite will go to The Prince of Wales's Charitable Foundation.
