Enjoy a talk from award-winning garden designer, Jo Thompson, on how you can adapt the designs of award-winning gardens to suit any home, and indulge with a delicious champagne afternoon tea after a guided tour of the gardens at Highgrove.

Show Gardens at Home

From a waterside retreat to a compact family garden complete with a green-roofed dog kennel, Jo Thompson is renowned for creating world-class show gardens that are practical, realistic and achievable in terms of design, planting and management.

During this talk Jo will look back at some of her most popular show gardens, explaining the process of designing and realising gardens for a variety of clients and challenging spaces, along with how you can adapt these award-winning gardens to suit any home.


Dine and Explore

Following your talk with Jo Thompson you’ll be led by one of HRH The Prince of Wales’s expert garden guides on a 75 minute garden tour, where you’ll learn about the history of the estate while taking in the key highlights of the gardens, including breathtaking displays of Spring bulbs.

After your tour, you’ll enjoy a glass of Highgrove Champagne and be seated in the beautiful setting of the Orchard Restaurant for afternoon tea, freshly prepared by the estate’s resident chefs.

About Jo Thompson

Jo Thompson’s garden designs are wide-ranging; from residential family gardens, public spaces and country estates, to tiny rooftop terraces - both in the UK and overseas. The gardens she creates are notable for the way in which they sit perfectly in their surroundings, and her exquisite planting schemes have led her to be considered one of the UK’s leading plantswomen.

Jo has been the recipient of three Gold and five Silver Gilt medals at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, and in 2017 she won the People’s Choice award at the first RHS Chatsworth Flower Show.



Event Ticket Delivery Information

Ticket Delivery times: we aim to deliver your tickets to mainland UK addresses within 3-5 working days of receipt of your order (subject to availability). Deliveries outside the UK may take up to 14 days. Please ensure you have completed all your guest names prior to the arriving at the event.

e-Tickets: If your ticket is an e-ticket this will be emailed approximately 1 week before the event. However, if you have not completed all your guest names an email reminder will be sent prior to this.

Tracking: Posted tickets will usually need to be signed for at the delivery address. A tracking link will be sent with your email dispatch confirmation if applicable. We cannot pass additional delivery instructions to our carriers. If no one is available to sign for your delivery (UK only) a card will be left and your order will be taken to your local Royal Mail Delivery Office for you to collect.
