    Lottie Day is a textile designer and illustrator based in Norfolk. She creates screen-printed textiles for the home and kitchen that feature her original illustrations, inspired by the Norfolk coast and the vegetables grown in her father’s allotment.

    Before opening her gallery in Norwich, Lottie completed her studies in contemporary crafts at Falmouth University in Cornwall.

    Wishing to pursue her career path, Lottie decided to begin designing and screen-printing textiles and, before long, produced speciality household goods like tea towels and napkins.

    GROWING FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH

    Lottie now works out of her studio in Norwich. Her art has been highlighted in several national newspapers and displayed at sizable fairs like Kirstie Allsopp's Handmade Fair and Country Living. She supplies shops and galleries across the UK, exports to Europe and America, and is currently opening her first shop in Norwich.

    In 2020, Lottie began supplying her vegetable and bee-inspired napkins to Highgrove's shops.

    They were popular with visitors, so a plan was made to produce a collection of custom illustrations inspired by the flowers at Highgrove Gardens.

    WORKING WITH HIGHGROVE

    Adapting her line-drawn illustration style, Lottie produced a new set of images for Highgrove, featuring the famous blue delphiniums often found in the Cottage Garden and Kitchen Garden.

    Working in her Norwich studio, Lottie created a bespoke gift set of delphinium napkins that is now available to buy online and in the Highgrove shops.

    “I was so excited to have my work on sale at such an incredible venue,” explains Lottie.

    “To be asked to create a new and unique product was such a fantastic opportunity.”

    “I really love the process of creating, and I was so happy with the final design of the delphinium napkins, and I hope that visitors to Highgrove love them as much as I do.”

    A beautiful reminder of Highgrove Gardens, Lottie Day has created a bespoke design for Highgrove. Based on the delphiniums at Highgrove, these napkins will add a floral and summery touch to any kitchen table.
