Unit price perThese beautiful Azita earrings are hand-made by skilled craftspeople in Afghanistan with the support of Turquoise Mountain, founded by His Majesty King Charles III in 2006. The green Azita earrings are named after the Persian feminine name, meaning "free woman" and "Goddess of Fire".
These earrings are a part of the Tahima jewellery collection, which takes its name from a princess in the epic Shahnameh poem and celebrates Afghan heritage and culture. The earrings feature a delicate, bold green onyx leaf inspired by the ornamentation found in the Noh Gunbad mosque in Afghanistan. The design echoes the hand-carved stucco that decorates the mosque's columns and archways, while the semi-precious green onyx stone reflects the colours used in the mosque's decoration.
