Discover the Secrets of Highgrove’s Wildflower Meadow

Your experience starts with meeting one of our guides, who will escort you to the Wildflower Meadow. During your visit, our Garden Team experts will provide you with firsthand insights into the year-round management of the Meadow. Learn how yellow rattle is used, what nutrients, if any, are required, and how working with traditional methods of managing the 4-acre site reaps the very best results, as explained by our Garden Team experts during your visit. Only 16 people will be able to enjoy this exclusive experience during the 2026 season.

Programme

  • 9:45 am - Guests arrive
  • 10:00 am - Experience begins
  • 11:30 am -  Afternoon tea served in the Garden Room
  • 1:00 pm - Access to the Coronation Pavilion Estate Shop; guests depart 

    (If you would like to have a tour of the Gardens on the same day, please book any tour that is available after 1:30 pm)

Afternoon Tea in the Garden Room

After your tour, take some time to relax and enjoy a traditional afternoon tea in the Garden Room's inviting surroundings. A classic tiered stand is filled with freshly made sandwiches, delicious sweet treats, and warm scones. Complete your experience with a choice of Highgrove tea or freshly brewed coffee.

Visit the Highgrove Shop at The Coronation Pavilion

Allow time to browse in the Highgrove Shop at The Coronation Pavilion during your visit, where you’ll find a selection of bespoke Highgrove products, including special edition artworks.

Inspired by the gardens, our collection includes a delicious range of Highgrove food and alcohol, homeware, and accessories, as well as other unique pieces exclusively designed for Highgrove.

Important Information

  • Two exclusive tours are available, each limited to just 16 guests.
  • All guests will be served the same afternoon tea unless they have a dietary requirement; these will be catered for individually. We must receive this information no later than 10 days before the tour date; dietary requirements stated on the day will not be catered for.
  • Highgrove is the private home of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla. All visitors must bring a form of photographic ID, ideally a passport, driving licence, or bus pass.
  • Due to the landscape and nature of the Gardens, wheelchairs and mobility scooters should be well suited to rough, uneven ground, gravel, and rugged pathways. Some surfaces may also be slippery when wet. We suggest wearing sturdy shoes or wellington boots and suitable outdoor clothing, especially in wet weather.   • The use of mobile phones and cameras (including dash cam recording) is restricted to certain areas of the Estate, which will be explained to you on entry. Binoculars and other forms of recording equipment are not allowed for security reasons.
  • Random bag checks may be carried out for security reasons.
  • Smoking, including vaping and the use of e-cigarettes, is not permitted anywhere at Highgrove.
  • Vehicles with dogs will not be permitted entry (excludes pre-booked service dogs).
  • Please aim to arrive up to 15 minutes before your Garden Tour to allow time for security checks.
