This handcrafted enamel box is a revival of an archive Halcyon Days design. It features painted depictions of the State Trumpeters of the Household Cavalry standing on either side of the dates of Her Majesty The Queen's reign.

Lifting the lid reveals words from Psalm 122 which have been sung at every Coronation since that of King Charles I in 1625. At Her Majesty The Queen's Coronation in 1953, the words were set to a composition by Sir Hubert Parry which was played as The Queen entered Westminster Abbey.
