The Royal Gardens at Highgrove are delighted to announce that Individual Garden Tours will resume from 9th September - 3rd October 2020.

Tickets will go on sale at 10:30am on Thursday 27th August 2020.

To help us to maintain the health and safety for both our visitors and staff and to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit, we have put the following measures in place:

  • Increased space between tables in The Orchard Tea Room
  • Complimentary hand sanitising stations for visitor use
  • A one-way system will be in place ensuring social distancing
  • Extra sanitising measures – we are keeping areas extra clean, disinfecting high contact surfaces thoroughly throughout the day
  • Safety screens
  • We are helping support NHS Test and Trace by taking contact details for all visitors to Highgrove

To ensure we meet social distancing requirements and due to the nature of the tour, it will not be possible to show the introductory personal message from HRH The Prince of Wales. Certain restricted areas of the garden will also not be accessible. This means the tour will last 90-minutes but will offer a unique opportunity to experience the garden in a very small group. For those of you who have already purchased vouchers, you will be able to redeem vouchers up to the end of next season (October 2021).

The Orchard Tea Room will be open for guests and will be offering refreshments, both savoury and sweet, including the celebrated Highgrove cream tea and hot and cold drinks.

The Highgrove Estate Shop will be open on the day of your visit, where you can browse a wide range of artisan products, from beautiful home and garden ware to country attire and artwork by HRH The Prince of Wales.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Royal Gardens at Highgrove.

Champagne Tea Tours, Private Tours and Group Garden Tours will return in 2021. Talking Gardens is planned to take place in April 2021.
