Campaign for Wool

Campaign for Wool

Each year the Campaign for Wool celebrates everything woollen during ‘Wool Week’ held between 7th and 20th October. The initiative, which was initiated by His Majesty The King and who now is its patron, helps raise awareness amongst consumers about the unique, natural, renewable and biodegradable benefits offered by wool.

Here at Highgrove, we are proud to support the wool industry in the UK and work with designers, wool merchants and manufacturers to create bespoke products, with all profits going to The King's Foundation.

Sheep footrests

Our delightful sheep Maud and Mavis are all individually hand-carved with a sturdy frame and topped with a calico-covered foam pad and a real British sheepskin coat to keep them warm. Each sheep is completely unique and handmade in England using traditional skills, perfect for putting your feet up on.

 Recycled wool throw

Pure wool is 100% natural, renewable and long lasting as our recycled wool throws show. Made from recycled fibres, our environmentally-friendly throws come in a range of colours, are all unique and make a cosy addition to your home.

Lambswool throws

Sumptuously soft and delicately coloured, our range of lambswool throws will have you snuggling up on the sofa in no time. Choose from an elusive hare or a simple dusky pink design to add style and comfort to your home.

Wool is great on its own or mixed with another fibre as our sheep patterned wool and cotton-blend throw proves. Whether it’s a decorative accessory for your living room, a warming comforter for your bedroom or even a whimsical picnic blanket, you’ll be counting sheep before you know it.
