His Majesty has painted many watercolours of his favourite views of Scotland. Lochnagar is in the Grampians of Scotland, located about five miles from the River Dee near Balmoral. This mountain completely dominates the surrounding area, and it looks different from every angle. Like all mountains, it has a variety of moods.
