Learn the art of block printing

Using Molly’s hand-carved, floral wooden blocks and a vibrant palette of eco-friendly paints, you will explore colour and pattern as you design and print your own cushion cover.

You will also have the opportunity to embellish your design using Molly’s selection of cotton threads. Simple embroidery techniques such as French knots, backstitch, and monogramming can be added to create depth and texture and make your cushion cover unique.

As fabric paints will be used throughout the workshop, aprons will be provided; however, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting a little paint on.

Suitable for all skill levels, this workshop requires no previous experience and offers a wonderful introduction to the creative art of block printing and textile embellishment.

Workshop with Garden Tour

This workshop includes a one-hour guided walk around the royal gardens with one of our expert garden guides. During this walk, you will have the opportunity to admire the flora and fauna in the gardens. This is a wonderful chance to immerse yourself in your surroundings, enjoying the sights, smells, and colours of the gardens while incorporating these elements into your printing.

A creative day with a delicious lunch

After an immersive morning of creativity, tuck into a delightful two-course lunch. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and the echoes of your artistic endeavours, savour a meal that complements the day's experiences.
